The Authors

We are an ever growing group of friends who are dedicated to the city we live in. We love photography, videography and creative work in general. FindingBerlin is where we share our work and love for Berlin (and our wanderlust abroad) with the world. Please get to know us and don’t hesitate to contact us if you need anything.
We always invite guest contributors to add to our little community. Special thanks to all of people who have helped us grow FindingBerlin and let us know if you want to share a story with us!
We are:
Sara
Sara is a 23 year old Cultural Science Studies student and founder of FindingBerlin.com. What once started off as a one-girl project soon became a multi-layered magazine dedicated to one of the coolest cities on the planets. Sara has a background in Online Marketing, has been blogging for a gazillion years for different magazines and projects and will soon run for president.
Marcus
Marcus Werner aka DT64 is a Video- and Photographer with an MA in Media Science and Intercultural Bussiness Communications. Together with Clemens Poloczeck he runs the media agency SUPERIEST focusing on Production, Consulting and Conception of Video-Content. Next to FindingBerlin he produces Videos for companys like MercedesBenz, Nokia or DesignHotels as well as different Online-Magazines and Blogs.
Matthias
Born and raised in Berlin, Matthias' true love lies in this city. It's a deep relationship: passionate about all the charming parts and in affectionate acceptance of what lies beyond the much lauded spots. Whenever he's not strolling through Kreuzberg or Marzahn, he plunges into art, either in a writing fashion at Castor & Pollux or in a supporting manner.
Nico
Being a student of Cultural Studies Nico is trying to figure out the pattern of contemporary life in the city. Fascinated by every aspect of visual communication he found an approach in videography. Truth be told he sometimes loses his focus in all the questions berlin is unveiling.
Stefan
Stefan is an enthusiastic photographer and graphic designer who has re-challenged the art of taking pictures. His creativity and the work he produces are almost too good to be on display. Almost.
Maria
Maria organizes the creative parts of FindingBerlin. Her strength lie in art and management and can be explored over at her project Artconnect Berlin where she is responsible for Public Relations, all matters press and the gorgeous art blog.
Andreas
After a decade of wanderlust to numerous places near and far, Andreas set up camp in Berlin in 2009. He is still not tired of exploring the German capital or other parts of this planet, but cannot leave the house without a camera.
Martin
Martin expanded the FindingBerlin universe by transferring the idea from the internet to the real world: FindingBerlin-Tours offers you the chance to see Berlin from an insiders perspective on the fanciest bikes in town.
