We’re aston­ished how fast time passed by: It’s already a year since our dear friends from Art­Con­nect Ber­lin star­ted their Social Media plat­form in order to bring this city’s cre­at­ive people together and let them share their skills for mutual pro­jects, events and the like. Over the course of a year, they built up a firm com­munity of artists, illus­trat­ors, musi­cians and all kinds of cre­at­ive people and along with their own blog, an agency for cre­at­ive ser­vices and sev­eral reg­u­lar events estab­lished them­selves as a nodal point in Berlin’s vast cre­at­ive world.

To cel­eb­rate this suc­cess­ful first year, they host a bunch of spe­cial events on the next week­end: Apart from an exhib­i­tion artist­ic­ally reflect­ing their yet short his­tory, they sol­em­nise the jubilee with a smash­ing party on next Fri­day and an art auc­tion on Sat­urday. The pro­ceeds of this fun­draiser, for which artists such as Peaches, Reyn­old Reyn­olds, Klub7 and many other donated works, will help the non-profit Social Media plat­form to main­tain its great ser­vice and grow fur­ther.
