People tend to forget very often that FindingBerlin was once created as a showcase for the photography within our group of friends. While we’ve extended the philosophy to include more than just our own circle of friends, we’re still, essentially, just that: a crew that likes to take pictures, travel the world and discover new places in Berlin.

Our ambition to be especially creative dries out during the winter. It takes a lot of self-motivation to go out on the streets when it’s freezing. But in the summer — or while on vacation — you can find each of us behind the lense, trying to capture the moment. Some of us have been quite far away: New Zealand, the USA or Croatia to mention some destinations, others stuck around here — it was summer in Berlin, too, after all.

And we love it with all our heart, trust me. As soon as the heat settles, most days are spent — one way or another — on the outside, on bikes, in parks, at the Späti. We might be getting old but that just never gets boring.

  2. How cool are those photos? It’s my first time to experience weather (or winter) this cold and it’s been getting me down. Seeing your beautiful sun-drenched photos made me smile!
