Matthias Heiderichs Color Berlin sets happened to cage a certain part of Berlins atmosphere. It’s not difficult at all to relate to them. Berlin, the whole of it- somewhere in there. Look closely and the portrayal will mesmerize you. You could find Berlin in there, but you won’t- you’re distracted by the colors. Ironically, that’s the same as with the city. It’s a perfect maze with no exit. The motives. The vastness. The art. The buildings. The structures. The compositions. Overwhelming, mesmerizing. In Berlin, we forget why we ever came- but we’ll stay forever.
