Creative New Media — Meet & Eat

Creative New Media - Meet & Eat is the name of a new networking and socializing event here in Berlin. Maria and Julia of fantastic Artconnect Berlin have decided to bring together all those bloggers in the city to spend an evening together. In the warm atmosphere of the cozy Agora café down in Neukölln we had a wonderful time together, talking, drinking, eating and listening to some awesome music.
This event was a kick-off, sort of a test for a series of Creative New Media events that we want to do every season. I think I can speak for everyone if I say that the Winter Edition of our newly birthed tradition was a success. Everyone got to know each other and share their experiences. We had many discussions in the beginning… that is, until everyone got so drunk, everything went from interesting to hilarious, exciting and wonderful.
That wonderful time wouldn’t have been as good without all the people who supported our idea. Let me first say thank you to Apaltagua. They served the wine that was probably responsible for the jamming sessions that were spontaneously pulled off. The musicians in question (who are now contemplating collaborating in the future!) were amazing Simmonne Jones from LA (she made us clap on the off beat!), Benedict Bindenwald, Dylan Aiello, Seraphin Donato, Jesse Braverman and Maria. I won’t say more, check out this pretty video of Dylan right here so you can imagine what it was like:
The only reason why about twentythousand liters of wine didn’t destroy us all was owed to the fact that we were served some quality food by the guys from the Supper Club, which was then decorated by Ruby Pester (who is a Food Artist)– how great was that, huh? Special thanks also to the sponsors from around the ‘hood, Bolu Supermarkets and Hao Cai Lei Asian Supermarkets.
I wish my pictures had turned out any good, but the Agora space is necessarily dark to provide some coziness… but I tried anyway, and I really hope to meet all of you again. Big kisses to Amy&Pink, This Is Jane Wayne and Artconnect Berlin who made all of this happen together.
By the way, if you’re interested in our next meeting around springtime, please don’t hesitate to email us. See you next time!
