You’re going to ask yourselves: where was I when those Bagels were devoured? When music was blast­ing and ped­es­tri­ans were com­plain­ing about us not mak­ing enough room on the side­walks for them to pass? When people star­ted to throw up from the many beers? When gang­sters star­ted freestyle-rapping over ridicu­lous beats? When it turned dark and people were still munch­ing on Bagels? When so many Bagels were eaten that some people had to be delivered into hos­pit­als all over the city — by ambu­lance? When ran­dom Kreuzberg char­ac­ters came by to see what was hap­pen­ing on the block? When drug deal­ers came with their fam­il­ies to enjoy the smooth atmo­sphere? Jesus Christ, where were you at the Hungry Bear opening?

Col­lat­eral Dam­age aside, we had a pretty good time. Thanks to Semih and The Hungry Bear for host­ing our after­noon. If you’re around the block and are crav­ing a decent Bagel (or even bet­ter, a fresh salad or Kum­pir), surely check out the little bistro.
