You’ re right! I don’ t want to look for­ward to the next couple of months with it’ s short, cold and grey days. I love to wear just one Sweater at night and the sun in my face dur­ing the day. But this is not Ber­lin. It is half a year of fucked up weather and inhouse activ­it­ies. I could start com­plain­ing about it right away but you could also see the other side. Without this aware­ness of what lies ahead of us we couldn’ t enjoy these beau­ti­ful days of the year like we all did last Sunday. There are cer­tain days of the year with this spe­cial ath­mo­sphere in the city. The first real sunny and warm days in April and the last days of the sum­mer. Last week was prop­ably the last warm and sunny day of the year and every­body knew this. So people come out of there apart­ments and catch every single sun­ray in the cafes, parks, fleamar­kets and at the canal.

I also enjoyed sneak­ing around my Kiez, listen­ing to some music and try to catch this ath­mo­sphere. Let’ s keep the warmth and the beau­ti­ful col­ors in our minds when we soon get chal­lenged by the darker part of the year.
