Piano Salon Christophori

You like wine, smoking cigarettes and live classical music in ramshackle places in Wedding? Then you'll love the Piano Salon Christophori.

The Piano Salon Christophori is a shop floor for historical fortepianos in the Uferhallen Wedding. But while that in itself would only be of interest to people who have their own pianos to give up for repair, the sounds of the restored pianos are also demonstrated to the public.

Every two or three weeks, chamber ensembles are organized in the workshop atelier. The beautiful mess of the various scattered tools and pieces of the pianos make the studio a magical, raw and romantic place to be. The live music performances on the pianos are hosted by great and small names alike. The atmosphere relies on the authenticity of the French ancestors of the piano concerts, so patrons and listeners are invited to enjoy the music along with good wines, to have a smoke and to parley with the featured musicians.

To know when the next concerts are planned to happen, you can enter your e-mail address into a regular newsletter. The concerts are free (donations are welcome), but you have to RSVP to attend, for many people love these wonderful evenings of piano music.
