A couple of days ago we published a little and yet incomplete list of all the crazy Christmas shopping opportunities for the upcoming December weeks (remember, if you know about a shopping event or special Christmas Market, leave it in the comments). Since it was the first Sunday in Advent, this last November weekend was already decorated in Christmas spirit (although honestly, it couldn’t be less of a Christmas spirit. We’re in the moodiest part of autumn: bitter cold and grey, Winter still holding out on us, no charm at all).
First stop on the shopping spree list was the 6th Edition of the Voodoo Market, not actually Christmas themed, but ah, we’re not like that. I loved the charity idea behind the luxurious flea market (“flea market” should seriously be put in brackets because none of that stuff was second hand and/or privately sold. More like handmade designer stuff and very carefully selected vintage). Most of all, I’d never really been at Chez Jacki so I had the opportunity to see the location. Great interior, very nice people, and I hope that many people went by on Saturday to donate to the cause. By the way, I ended up not buying anything but I did win at the Lieblingsmensch-Tombola. Good times!
